Want to get the best from my dvx100b

Okay, so I shot a short film with the dvx100b, 24pa, squeeze mode, edited on FCP6. The film looks great in the canvas but when I export it to DVD, the video is noisy and the great quality that so many dvxers achieve evades me. I used many different methods to export including making a reference. mov and exporting to DVD SP and burning it to exporting it to compressor but the results are the same. What do I do?

Never judge the quality of your video on what you see in the FCP canvas. That's a terribly unreliable representation of your image. You really need to have a calibrated, external production monitor.

And check your scopes for any color correction needs.
