So yeah, I am trying to find a good hvx200... one that comes with p2 cards.... are there any packages with the camera and p2 cards? I found one dealer online, I'm really skeptical when it comes to buying things online, I was just wondering if anyone knew this dealer and might give the go on it.

Well, shopcartusa sells nothing (except for mis-information and false hope! ), they are just providing you a list of pricing of various dealers. The price they are stating is for an online merchant that has been discussed here:

Amazing how human desire to buy something CHEAP, makes us believe the wildest fairytales!

If the price for the HVX200 is not in the low $5K range, and it isn't a Panasonic authorized dealer, then don't buy it.

I am simply amazed how many people seem to fall for those Brooklyn camera stores and even more amazed that despite all of the discussion here and elsewhere folks still post questions about them. As PT Barnum said... "There's a sucker born every minnute." As my grandfather said: "Freier!"

The really amazing thing is that people see the negative reports, and then decide to take their chances anyway. I really have very little sympathy for them.

That's the reason why people comes to my Country, Colombia, despite of bad press; and meet a beautiful place in a corner of the world, with very nice, working people, wonderful landscapes, delicious food and long very long party nights  .

Come, see yourself, may nothing of what they say happen, and may be you'll have the best experience.

Welcome !!!
