7D Want buy today a 7d please help to choose kit

Hi,

i want to buy today a 7d fo make music videos and film :=)

I have following options in switzerland:


USD 1'805->Canon EOS 7D Body
USD 1'971->Canon EOS 7D Kit EF-S 18-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS
USD 2'400->Canon EOS 7D Kit mit EF-S 15-85mm 1:3,5-5,6 IS USM

Accessoires:
USD 265->Canon EF-S 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 IS
USD->Canon EF-S 55-250mm 4-5.6 IS

Please help me to choose kit and or accessoires.

What will you be shooting? Where will you be shooting? Just video? Answering these questions will help you determine what to purchase.

Just out of curiosity, how much is the T2i there?

T2i: I can not find on canon switzerland. In USA i found it for 900 USD. Why you asking? Is the T2i better than the 7d?
 
For video purposes, it's pretty much the same. I have a 7D so I don't know too much about the T2i, but I know that one thing it lacks is 1/3 step control of ISO. Stills—another story.

If it wasn't for the large price difference, I'd say to get the kit with the 15-85. But because the 18-135 in the kit is so much less than the 15-85, I'd say the 18-135 is the way to go. You'll hear the IS a bit but the benefit, aside from a lower price, is longer reach. In any case, you'll need a prime or lights to shoot indoors.
 
T2i is cheaper than 7d. But i need a really good argument to choose the T2i instead of 7d.

Who has a argument :=)

price ok but quality and functions?
 
Video quality, and arguably still quality are the same.

Video functions are nearly the same.

However, the 7D blows away the T2i as far as shooting pictures goes. I can't see the T2i firing 6fps or processing RAWs as fast as the 7D

But that's a completely different story.
