C100: Walkaround side bag

I use a Lowepro S&F harness and their S&F lens bags like the 200AW. I just strap as many of the lens and utility bags on the harness until I'm good. I then use a should sling from UP Straps http://www.upstrap-pro.com/ to carry around the camera. I have found it to be the quickest run n gun setup for myself and I can use two hands to make adjustments. I like using the should sling to stabilize the camera. If I push the camera away from the body and against the sling around your back, I actually find that it stabilizes rotational movement and hand jitters as much as a shoulder mount and allows for a far larger variety of shot angles.

That Lowepro Passport Sling III looks like a good bag for this kind of thing. But, good news, I figured out a very workable solution with a bag that I already have. It's what I use as my day bag and laptop bag. It's the ThinkGeek Bag of Holding. The name sounds nerdy, but it's a quality bag.

I took out my stuff that I leave in it. And I put my C100 Mark II with a Tamron 17 - 50mm lens on it, inside of the main compartment in the bag. Plenty of room to spare in length and height, and it zips closed. It might fit with the 70 - 200 F2.8 on it-- I'll know next week. I figure (when the camera isn't in it, which will be the majority of the time) I'll put the strap across my body on my left shoulder, and have the bag across my right hip/ butt area. Felt pretty comfortable when I tried it. I'll report back when I give it a go!

This is a picture of it from their website (i.e., that's not me).
