"Wages of Sin" An Ultra Low Budget Indy Primer

This is my first short ever shot on the DVX. And by the way, the other vids can be seen again. I had some things up there for internal eyes only. If you get to my vimeo before I take it down you may get to see a cool fight between Locke and Arcus Fallen. If not, you'll have to wait until the "Epitaph: Bread and Salt" movie comes out.

Did you have a soundguy ? I mean a real one...not your "neighbourfriend" or "uncle Sammy"

And have you done ADR ?

Sound man? This was done in 2002. We barely knew what a sound man was. We had a microphone, but our wire was messed up. The microphone is excellent, but that wire had a break it in. We didn't know until we did "Wages of Sin". (Same cord we shot "4th Beast" with). We got a new cord. Plus this was my first time booming. John is real good at sound. He's a composer and knows all the sound guys. His sound is usually always good. I think John did do some ADR.

This is a comedy short we did with the DVX100 about two years ago. This was unscripted and pretty much off the cuff like our very first short, no really production value, but people seem to find it pretty funny. (Which was shot with a Panasonic PVDV100). By the way, that other film "12th Night" is on IMDB. Very cool.

By the way, I should be clearer. This was shot with the DVX100, but our first short improv comedy was shot with a PVDV100.
