I was setting up for a studio shoot a couple days ago and when I plugged in the firestore it froze up in a way that it never has before, with a blue screen and no letters or symbols. I have never needed to take the battery out to restart the thing, so I just shut it off and it turned right back on.
I'm flipping thru the menu's and notice the alarm is back on ( I usually have it off) I reach setup screen and see that it has rolled back to v 2.0.0! Wow so I can no longer shoot in 24pN as the producers want. Shoot goes off fine, no other problems, I unload the footage, shut it off.
Turn it back on.....v 3.0.0 has decided to come back and say hello. I can record in pN again. This is the first problem I have had with the FS, and after all the jibba jabba about how unrealiable the thing is I'm happy this is the only problem I have ever had.
Anyone else had to deal with this?
Anyone know when 3.1 drops?
Media composer can handle 24p and 24pN in the same timeline right?
