Vote: CCD or CMOS

[Mike Krumlauf]

No long reasons why.. not trying to start a debate just a simple poll. Which sensor technology do you prefur, CCD or CMOS. No need to explain, just respond with "CCD" or "CMOS".

My Vote - CCD

[Run&Gun]

CCD

[Mark Williams]

CMOS if it had a global shutter and the camera was inexpensive.

Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor

[nutmegger]

CCD if new tech ones existed.

[Mitch Gross]

CMOS for a vast variety of reasons you asked us not to go into.

CCD

[helweg]

CCD but there's a bunch of reasons why I don't love it too!

Quantum Film (once perfected) or something similar with a global shutter. Apple bought them: https://www.patentlyapple.com/paten...chnology-for-advanced-cameras-and-beyond.html

Quantum Dot sensors: https://www.thephoblographer.com/20...e-a-camera-resolve-terapixels-not-megapixels/

With Mitch on this. CMOS.

(But i’ll be happy when the next sensor tech emerges.)

End of a long weekend shooting at the racetrack in 110+ heat index. Probably lucky I could even type and surprised I was still awake.

At least I generally get to/too/two and there/their/they're right...

[NorBro]

lol, I was just playing.
