I was just trying deshaker in virtualdub but I had a hard time getting the file to be accepted in VD. I have Vegas and i'm wondering what is the easiest way for me to get a 7D MOV into something VD can accept. On another note maybe deshaker isn't the best thing to use but it was free...anything else like a plug in for Vegas that would be better?

I think it will accept Avid DNxHD (which you can download for free from avid.com) as well as the HuffyYUV avi codec. I remember having a hard time getting 7D footage into deshaker from Vegas but I don't remember how I eventually did it.
