Vintage FCP and HVX200

What is the oldest version of FCP that will recognize and log/transfer P2 clips from the HVX200?

I'm not in the budgetary shape to bulk up on FCP 5 or 6 right now, but didn't want to drop a few bucks on a Craigslist version of FCP 4 if it won't play nice with my HVX200.

Actually you can get away with 5.0.4, that is what I am using on my PowerBook G4. Just my two cents. And to add, I have down loaded P2CMS and it works on my old G4 and P2 formatter also works on my G4, so don't listen to the website about not working on anything other than an Intel Mac.

So now more portable solution is perfect.

yes 5.0.4 worked, but had some bugs with the P2 workflow. 5.1 and later are better bets for P2.
