Video Time Delay In Toast 9

I've noticed an 11 frame time delay (video runs late) by 11 frames what shooting 720/30p and converting through Toast 9. In digging into this more, I'm also seeing a smaller video delay in 720/60p (same file converted as 60p and also converted as 30p) and 1080/30p (converted to 720/30p). The offset is always the same, the video runs 4 frames late.

I can fix this in FCE, but I'm beginning to wonder if this is a Toast 9 issue or if others have seen it on Toast 10.

I think we also saw this over at the 150 forum.

How long was the clip? I can test it with some 60 footage I have from the 150 using Toast 10.

The test clips were short, about 20 - 30 seconds. However, I've seen the delay in the video in the 720/30p on longer (2 minute) clips. I have not tested longer clips in 720/60p. The shift appears to occur at the point of transcoding.

I can test it with some 60 footage I have from the 150 using Toast 10.

Thanks, I'd be interested in seeing how Toast 100 deals with it.

yeah toast 9 does not transcode 720/30p correctly. we figured that out in the 1250 forums. i got 1080/30p to transcode correctly but didnt try the down res. sorry cant comment on toast 10.
