India is a wonderful place. It's a country of extremes. You can't deny the poverty, but at the same time you can find such beauty in all the chaos. I believe I captured both.
That you did. America is the same way (Not always in the third world sense) in that one minute youre driving through Brentwood and the next through Watts.
Thank you for the wonderful montage Bob; I enjoyed it thoroughly. Please give my regards to your brother Jag - he is quite the photographer.
I used to travel to India once a year on business (consistently for 6 years) and stay for 8 week stints. There are days that I miss it and others that I am so grateful to live in the US of A. I remember people saying that as a teacher, I would go to India and change things - you know make it more of something they would say. This is completely false because when you go to India, you don't change it - it changes you ... forever. I have collected some amazing images myself over the years but unfortunately I did not own my DVX at the time of those visits. One of my all time favorite places to visit is Vishaka Patnam ... how could one forget the Red Hills or attempting to fish with the local fisherman.

Sweeeet~
I love India. I have been to India twice, and your film totally reminds me of my trip. I could almost smell India from watching your film.
It seems like you spent alot of time in Rajasthan(Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, Jodhpur, Jaislmer desert etc) and Pujab area(Golden Temple in Amritsar). How long were you there?
My favorite areas in India are Varanasi, Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir area(Leh). I did a motorcycle(Royal Enfield) trip in N. India and it was the most amazing experience. I have only been to the Northern part of India, I gotta go back there to check out South India.
I miss travelling... :'(
I miss India(but not Delhi Belly, Diarrhea or food poisoning )

It is really amazing. In fact your work has inspired me so much to go back to Pakistan (where I come from) and test the abilities of my DVX100AE.

Good luck in Pakistan. Make sure you take lots of tape!
