Is this only eligible to people in the U.S.? I couldn't seem to find that in the fine print?

I'm from Canada but not sure if I can enter or not.

Edit:
Nevermind lol its in the first sentence duh, crap.

damn this is not fair!

"The submissions must not contain footage, images, music or artwork not created by entrant." Looks like I'm going to have to go with no music, as I have no musical ability. Is it really that harsh, or is stock / purchased music ok? I would think so, but this seems to beg otherwise.

I emailed them for clarification on this because on another page it says "Note: Please do not use music, brand images or talent that you do not have permission to use in your video. If you’re going to put music on your video it’s best to use music that is in the public domain or music that you have created."

The two seem to contradictory.

Also, I wanted to clarify, does that mean that I can just get a rights and sync release and be good...

I'll let everyone know if they respond.

I can't get their stupid website to work. The only page I can view and read is the "The Brief" page. The others load, then immediately disappear, leaving me staring at just the yellow background screen, with the stupid "Your Day in x Seconds or Less" thing constantly counting down. I've tried 3 different computers, ranging from XP to Vista, with the same result on all.

This bites!

Works fine for me on Mac and Safari.

The only thing I can get it to work on is Mozilla Firefox.

How can you control 'images' as all being created by the entrant? Hmmmm. :undecided

Dammit, Canada is always screwed for contests....

No reply yet to my inquire.

[Eric Papa]

Can someone clarify what you are supposed to make the movie about?

[Jackson Miller]

You are supposed to capture the essence of your day. "A Day Through Your Lens."
