Agggh!  You have got to find out which one is DVX!

That short was nice.  Imagery is clean.  NIke is always at the forefront with this.

I read the interview and they make no mention of any other camera? Nice.

What kind of software and hardware did you use to create the film?

Software: 3ds max 6, mental ray 3.2, After Effects 5.5, Premiere 6.5
Hardware: BOXX Workstations and Servers, Panasonic DVX-100 MiniDV Camera

BTW: this isn't my project. It was by a design duo called KDLAB, who do great work btw (link).

Check out the other stuff on their site, its a lot of 3D but there is quite a bit of video. Talk about jaw dropping. :o I would love to know how much was shot with the DVX.

You mean you think he made a mistake when he said in his interview, "Panasonic DVX-100 MiniDV Camera", and actually meant to say "Panasonic SDX-900 DVCPro Camera"?

That's quite a slip of the tongue!

There , there...I know the disappointment. That mean bully shouldn't have done that ----- if it was shot with anything from Panasonic, he should have said "varicam". I never understand the psychology behind people that get on these boards and talk trash. I am just waiting to catch the fool that posts some clip from "Lawrence of Arabia" and says he "shot and edited this in a day", on the DVX. I mean, c'mon guys- our mutual admiration for this camera should not be overshadowed by what my Grandpappy used to call, " plain 'ole common sense."
