Vertical Lines through footage?

I finally hooked my 7D up to a large tv via HDMI and noticed these vertical lines in the footage. Has anyone seen this?

Also on computer? I had the same thing till I figured its happening when someone is flashing in your picture with a camera flash.

I cant seem to see your picture here but one cause of vertical lines is having your iso too high and not using multiples of 160...sounds odd but it works.

I noticed I got odd darkish lines every once and a while, found that while on 50 shutter, but when I went up to 60, went away..odd.

are you using superflat? Sometimes using one of the presets that boost the low mids causes vertical banding when images are too low in exposure.
