Vertical lines in zoomed in shots?

I really wish I could show video of what I'm talking about, but it doesn't really show up on the internet because of flash limitations and player size.
More times than not, the footage coming from the 150 is nothing short of fantastic, but there are times that I'm really disappointed. From time to time when I am zoomed in on a shot and especially into darker areas.....I get some visible vertical lines all across the shot. Gain is off, DRS is off, and it's at different framerates. The only thing I can think is that it might be the ND filters, but I'm not so sure that I even use those on some of those results.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about? This is the best I could do:

I assure you you can see it much easier on my pc and on the PS3 during playback. If this topic has been covered before, I apologize. I'm just looking for some educated insight. If it's something I'm doing wrong, I want to know. Would being zoomed in with an ND filter on cause this?

Thanks for any input guys. If this was covered in another thread, feel free to :nads: and send me in that direction! haha

Ive seen similar effects when I had 720 in a 1080 timeline with Vegas. Not sure since your using PS3. Whats your project and rendering settings?

Does it happen when playing the raw files back like in VLC or the PS3 (it sounds like yes). Just want to make sure it isn't the transcoder's fault or something else...

My project and render settings aren't the problem. The images look like this right out of the camera. If I stick the card in a reader and stick it in the PC or into the PS3 it looks the same. This is an in camera issue since I am viewing the files in their native state. (yes, this is using VLC and PS3)

I may try to run some ridiculous tests just to see.
I can't believe that I'm the only one that has seen this. :(

Strange haven't seen this with any of my closeups.
The only thing I sometimes get are some really small macroblocking with certain settings , but it doesnt deform the picture at all.
