Vertical Lines apparent in the color red...Help

I shot this piece last night, part of which was lit with a red light and all throughout the footage there are these vertical lines that appear and im not sure why. Could it be my scene settings? Something with the chips?

Need more information and image samples.

However, it is possible that it is the blocky reds produced by .Mov.

The DVX has troubles with the reds.

If you de-saturate your footage, it will really clean up the reds.

There is a Chroma Blur you can apply, but I'm not sure how to get that.

ALL DV cameras have trouble with reds. And blues. It's due to the 4:1:1 color sampling used by DV.
