VERTICAL IMAGE CAPTURE:
It's becoming increasingly popular to shoot vertically instead of the regular 16:9 or 4:3. How about 9:16 high definition? I would like to see the Red Imager with the ability to select vertical imaging. Technically, the 4k format size could be used electronically with a digital matte in the viewfinder if your engineering department did not want to shift the Red Imager vertically. The vertical strip would contain enough high definition information for this purpose.
Vertical images are seen in fashion shows, newscasts and graphic presentations. Vertical images show a whole "new" perspective in its native form and can also be used to embellish regular video edits.
