Version upgrade error

I'm in deep ****, I'm shooting tomorrow. I've got An HVX-200 from march 2006 and I'm trying to do my first firmware update from 1.? to 4.6 but whatever I do, I'm getting an error message after 6-7 minutes. I tried with a new SD card formatted on a PC. What could be the problem.
 
Do you have the right firmware for your camera model? There are separate firmware images for the PAL and NTSC cameras.
 
Even if the camera is stuck when I'm in th P2 mode I was able to use it in the tape mode. I tried upgrading with an SD card from another person but it still showed the Upgrade error message, I wonder if there is a way to reset the whole thing to it's previous firmware version.
