Very impressive! Too bad those 'copters are so pricey. I don't doubt they're worth it, but that just puts them on the list of "Cannot buy."
 
I'm less worried about the pricey part, than losing the camera in a crash... even if you really know what you are doing, I think there's probably a pretty high casualty number on these babies. But you know, high risk, high reward.

And regarding price, isn't this still a heck of a lot cheaper than renting a real copter and doing aerial shots? Not to mention permits and insurance and all that stuff. This really is the future of a lot of aerial footage, I'd think.
 
Depending on the length of your flight, it's not cheaper. The device was about $4000. Renting a real one out here is something like $600/hr.
 
That was pretty rad. Interesting time to be alive, no?

I've only been to Venice once, thanks for taking me back.
 
I love these heli shots, very beautiful skate park fly over and in through the trees. I've never been to Venice beach but from Kassem G's videos I've heard it's where all the stoners hang out :Drogar-Dolar(DBG):

Thiss^^ I asked a guy that owns a professional rig about it and he said the whole thing cost him about $30k :/ I'd love to have the budget to work with those heli's
