Vehicle Branding for Production Company?

Just one thing about magnetic signage.....make sure your car's body is actually metal.

I also got magnetic signs from Vista Print, and they looked pretty good. They attach just fine to my Honda, but won't stick on my Saturn. Wish I'd thought about that ahead of time.

I had my vehicle branded and I could never sleep at night especially away on a shoot. I kept thinking it advertised "expensive gear inside , come steal it".
I doubt it ever got me any business now I go stealth.

One other consideration with magnetic signage...even if you car body is metal, the wind has a way of getting under them and whipping them off. Happens to me with every set I get. I've ended up with decal graphics that adhere to the windows, also available on Vista Print.

I bought a set of magnetic signage for my transits van. My insurance would have gone up if I had gotten any body wrap, and generally I don't use the signs when I'm going to jobs. But usually slap them on when I'm going to meetings or riding around town without any gear inside.

I've only lost one due to high winds so far! I have yet to get any client calls from someone seeing the vehicle however.

Yeah, this is my thinking too. I don't think the marketing aspects would be worth the increased theft risk for me.

Who here actually stores video gear in their car over night? I mean sometimes ill have leave gear in there, but very rarely.
At my gigs, most of all my gear is unloaded, so theft isn't the biggest concern.
I use magnetic branding at gigs. Many times people walk past our vehicle during an event and I'll see them taking a photo of the details.
We are running a photo/video Wedding Event's company, so word of mouth can be a great lead for us. So with our type of business, vehicle branding can help.

I dont daihard, at every shoot away from home I am the guy carrying everything up (bar the occasional older tripod) to his hotel room and sleeping with his camera.
When housekeeping come in they must think Im doing a porno.

But the thieves don't know my vehicle is empty. Comedown in the morning to find a rear window smashed and the car in a mess. Yes they did not steal anything of value but the damage is done. And don't rule out the opportunist thief who see you pull up to a venue to unload your kit.

I have had cars broken into twice, once at supposedly secure airport parking, nothing of any value was taken they even missed the sat nav as (i had carefully hidden it) both vehicles were unbranded but i feel advertising the fact I have expensive gear makes me more of a target.
