Vegas Pro 17

Yeah, I don't know if I will upgrade or not. I have to be convinced that the upgrade will do something for my workflow.

The nested timelines feature looks interesting, especially if it works a little like compositions do in After Effects.

It also has a whole new set of color grading tools. It can also export LUTs now plus it has the capability of working in HDR and HLG using the ACES workflow.

Use it all the time along with Resolve. Rock solid stable. Doesn't leverage GPU power like Resolve but for speed of cutting and the fact that you have sub frame audio editing and a very competent audio editor all built into the one app makes it a useful tool. Vegas evolved from an audio app. Video brother to Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge originally. The fact that it can now handle LUTs and generate LUTs is a big help at times. It can render to 'ProRes' which makes it useful when exchanging material with them other people over the road on that 'other' system:)
