Any advice? Any problems? Looking for help. Thanks.

As of the current version, Vegas does not work natively w/ mxf files. You can use raylight to convert into HD QT movies and you can edit those with Vegas.

Vegas 7 SHOULD include .mxf support (why not- Panny and Sony have gotten chummy over the new AVCHD codec)

Raylight, will read the .mxf files and make proxy .avi's.
You can edit in Vegas this way. It works I have used it.
I like Vegas but I also have Edius which works
with the .mxf files directly.

Thanks, by the way, any issues with the PAL HVX when using Raylight?
ive been hearing rumblings Sony is dropping Vegas.. that may not be a bad thing, if sonic foundry takes it back im sure they will support alot more things than before.
