Hi guys!

Bumped into the Variable Frame Rate hack post, which is great!

Started fooling around with the settings, shot a couple of busy streets at night with 2fps 350d shutter, which look awesome. But then I wanted to tweak the settings in the field...but I wasn't carrying my laptop. So I went back to the office downloaded a text free editor for my Treo 650 (benroe.com/sied/). Now I can tweak the settings for the VFR hack in the field with my PDA!

Very handy!
This should work on most PDAs which have SD card slots too. :)

Is it possible to access the scene file information while the SD card is in the camera? Powered on? Recording?

Prolly not, huh?

- Mikko ... still looking for ramping. :)

Nope, you use the SD slot in your PDA to access the info. Open the text file using a text editor, modify settings, save back to the SD card, and read the scene info off the card.

Ya, back when I birst learned about the hack, I did the same thing on my Treo 700p. I freakin love it. and being I can Edit word, excel, ect. just so sweet. great post.
