Val Kilmer.

I just watched The Salton Sea, and I enjoyed it very much. Since I know you'll most likely never read this...

why are you making a bunch of crap these days?

just curious, because you used to do a lot of good stuff.

I'm channelling for Val:

*goes into trance*

I'm making a bunch of crap these days because my ego got me off-track when I was in my prime. I inadvertently built a reputation of being difficult to work with before I had any truly great roles. So now I have to take the best offers I can to make a living. I'm hoping that some Tarantino type phenom comes along and revives my career like Travolta's. However... Travolta was already embedded in pop culture before he faded... and I never made it that far... so this will only work for me if I hook up with a relative unknown on a truly great script that can be well-executed on a really low budget... and prove that I'm no longer a pain in the ass.

*snaps out of trance*

Whoah... what happened? Did you hear from Val?

I think Val Kilmer is a really outstanding actor. Always have. I liked Salton Sea* and thought he was great fun in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Wonderland
was good too. He was about the only good thing for me in Alexander.

although I really regret having been inspired to visit the *real* Salton Sea

this is great.

Val Kilmer is one of my favorite actors. Salton Sea is a great movie.... he will have his comeback. it should have been kiss kiss bang bang... but that wa too funny to be taken seriously.

He will be saved... dont worry....

Spartan is one of my favorite Mamet movies. I'm sure Kilmer will do a decent movie again, however he just doesn't seem to be trying anymore. Watch the abysmal trailer for Streets of Blood, it's shot like a bad porno. Sharon Stone is even in it, and she looks completely out of place. But, I guess that's what you get when you put two failing stars in a movie with a rapper who has no right to be an actor.

for about 20 minutes I thought he was great in Lords of Dogtown, but that's when I realized it was Heath Ledger do Kilmer's Morrison.

Whoaaa! You are a visionary.

I thought Top Secret was great - lots of memorable scenes. How can a guy who acts in a movie like that be hard to work with....? ah well.
