Can a VHS tape recorded onto the DVX's minitape?

[tieman64]

I have a PAL VHS tape that I'd like to copy to a mini-tape in my NTSC DVX100B.

I've connected a RCA cable from my DVX to my VCR and played my VHS tape so that is shows on my TV.

I've switched my camera to VHS mode but the tape doesn't play on the miniscreen.

I've tried pressing the record button (both at same time) to no avail. The manual doesn't seem to provide much help.

I've never recorded to my DVX100B before and any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You'll need a PAL Camera/VCR to record from a PAL VHS VCR.

easiest way is probably to digitize the footage then convert to ntsc then output to tape
