Vacation footage shot on DVX W/ Guerilla35

Man, I knew I shoulda just shut my mouth. My house is not really mine, I just sneak in and use it when the owners are away :)
 
im definitely interested in this. im also developing my own, but i might drop it if this is all it appears to be. :) good stuff
 
This is probably a stupid question and the answer is probably finable in the FAQ, but humor me:
How much will the Guerilla35 cost?

Ok, I know you can't really answer that, but the Micro35 Indie Bundle is $850, and the P+S Technik MINI35 is rentable for a whole lotta cash. So with this in mind, I was wondering how you guys were considering competing. Will it be on price (where you offer the lowest price to capture the market) or quality (where you make the best adapter and charge a premium for it)? Or both? Do tell. Thanks, and great job.

Yep. High speed Ecktachrome. Shot it right before Kodak desided to discontinue it.

I believe that they hope to have this product available for right around $1000 (give or take $200 or so)

I don't know if this will include a rail system (for extra long lenses) or not. From what I gather - the G35 will not need a rail system to support normal prime lenses. However if you plan to use extra long/heavy lenses you may want/need a support system to relieve stress from your lens mounts and such.

Don't quote me on this. Just make sure to check out their site thoroughly. Lots of info on the discussion borad.

hey man how much is this adapter gonna be???? hopefully it won't be like the micro35 that costs $45 to make and they sell it for $800 and up, I know there are A LOT of expenses involved but c'mon that was alil' too much

also what kind of mount is it gonna be? is it a GG element?
I saw tht it inverts the image....hmmmmm?

Barry and Jarred why don't u guys come up with something like the DVXUser35, huh....I know I know easier said than done
