V-mount battery for fs700 and odyssey 7Q

finally, after i have solved the "wrong battery" problem, i am very satisfied with my solution, shown here:

the hirose connectors are rock solid and very small. but you have to be patient while soldering...

for the sony power cable itself: there are very cheap power supply units sold on amazon. theyre much cheaper than the cable itself. i dont have the link right here, but they shpuldnt be too hard to find.

Thanks. The Hirose connectors with cable and strain relief seem to protrude less than the lemo, which seem quite long.

Wooden Camera also offers a battery plate system with a cable to feed directly to the FS700. Their "Battery Slide" system is pretty clever and allows a variety of positioning.

I'm just looking for a V-Lock battery distribution plate too.

I like the look of the Tilta and Movcam - solid camera looks even better but is very pricey.

One question I was thinking - how have you found security of cables (and the positioning of the power switch on the Tilta) - easy to possibly pull one out while handling or accidentally knock the power switch - could be pretty messy, particularly for the O7Q while recording (having to rebuild the SSD?).

Locking Lemo type connectors look good, although they're very long and stick out a lot. They also seem to be incredibly expensive built into cables from various suppliers.

Any other rail mounted systems out there that you've looked at?

Thanks!

Here is the post having picture i use tilta battery plate to power my FS700 and 7Q. It is via D-tap, so far is one of the cheap solution but working very good to me. Love the tilta one give many volt option and power supply out for different device
