Yeah, keep laughing. But the guy gets his movies financed. Are you getting your movie financed? Let's see... is he getting financed because his movies are such great works of art? Was it the great script? We are told that the script is most important... Or is it the great acting? We are told that great acting is what makes a movie. Wait, I know, it's the great directing! Yes, we know directing is very important. OK, ok, I got it - it's the great critical acclaim... he's loved by critics! Darling of critics! Wins many festivals - top prizes. Wins Oscars - great for marketing. And just look at audience response judging by the great word of mouth he gets on his movies.

I tell you what. Go ahead and laugh. But to me, someone who defies every single metric of "conventional wisdom" of how to make it in this industry, is a kind of a genius. He's like the athlete who never trains, has no aptitude for his sport, no respect for his sport, the spectators or judges, but nonetheless keeps getting to run in the elite group of olympians, even if he never ever wins anything and is always dead last... but he gets to do it, while millions upon millions of dedicated, talented and worthy individuals who strive and strive and work and work at their craft never even get to within a mile of a tryout.

Uwe is a genius. An evil genius, but a genius.

It's true for most he has done until 2005, in 2005 this loophole was closed by German government. Fahad, I can't explain it in detail but through limited partnerships there have been ways to use German media-fonds even though the movie to be financed was certain to make disprofit.
Btw, not only Uwe, even Hollywood took advantage of this German tax loophole, Tomb Raider was financed this way.
 
I mean, is it a spoof? I kinda would watch this really blazed. I dunno. I really didn't expect a comedy, there's no comparison between this and the auschwitz movie, that trailer was in bad taste, this is just... well... I wanna see bluberella... do i?

Strange phenomenon this uwe boll. I never even heard of him till I read about that sick baby-burny trailer here. Read about the boxing too, yeah I dunno what to think of this guy in all honesty.

Is it a spoof though?
