From other's experiences would I have an adverse effect on the visuals if I keep my UV filter on while shooting in a metal shop. I'm sure you know the look I'm trying to get with welding arcs and grinding sparks in the scene. I'd like to protect the lens as much as possible but will take the chance if it somehow impedes the imagery.
