HI,

in your opinion/experience, which UV and polarizer filters would you recomend for a DVX100b videocamera?

Thanks

any 72 mm should be fine to protect the lens/. Tinted ones will have certain effects while the seemingly clear ones dont do much. Most of us put on on the lens since its a 10 dollar piece of protection. If it gets scratched it can be replaced much cheaper then the whole lens.

I always keep a Tiffen Haze2 on my lens (yes, DVX cams ARE sensitive to UV). Hoya makes 2 or 3 different good, reasonably priced 72mm polas...(multicoated, Super multi-coated). Just make sure you white balance with the pola attached as some can have a slight greenish tinge due to the polarizing material used. Whatever filters you use, make sure that they are clean, as they are, in effect, the "front element" of your lens.
