GH2 Using the US charger in Europe?

Don't buy a convertor, just a inexpensive plug adapter. There are many standards, so if traveling between countries, or sometimes within the same country, you might need different types.

A Universal Power Strip is also nice to have, but most US bought ones will still require the appropriate plug adapter(s).

Lastly never use a foreign hotel's 110V convertor designed for razors, & such. These are crude, & not for sensitive electronics.

Any charger with "110V-240V 50/60Hz" written on it will work worldwide without a convertor. Most travel convertors are crude also, & are not designed to be left on for long time periods, so will likely burn out prematurely.

If you haven't already, I suggest you pick up another charger too. All equipment breaks, usually at the worst time, & you don't want to be waking up at all night just to swap batteries.

GH2 OEM chargers are scarce, but the cheap 3rd party ones seem to work fine.

I just used mine for a month in Europe with no issues. I use a small two prong adapter that will fit inside outlets that are sometimes recessed. I also brought a spare battery.

Often the only outlet(s) in hotels can be hard to get at, so consider bringing a short AC extension cable. The difference in voltage, & hertz, won't damage the cable, it's amps that fry them, & for your needs that shouldn't be an issue.
