Using the same SDHC card in a GH13 and a GH2 on the same shoot?

I have a GH13 and I just ordered a GH2. I also have a 16Gb Sandisk SDHC card. Can I use that card formatted in my GH13 on my GH2 without reformatting the card? In other words, can I put the card in my GH13, format it, shoot some native 1080/24p footage, and then take the card out, pop it straight into my GH2 and shoot some more native 1080/24p footage? Or do I have to format the card in the GH2 and erase all the GH13 footage before I shoot footage with the GH2?
 
I think you are best to reformat for each use. If I change certain firmware settings on my GH1 and try to play back older version clips from the camera they can lock up the camera.

Yes, I've routinely swapped SD cards between GH1, GF1, and G2 cameras during testing and lens evaluations. As long as you don't switch between NTSC and PAL modes (which do require separate SD cards), I doubt you'll see any technical problems.

What can cause recording glitches is fragmentation of the SD card memory map. This can occur after you erase unwanted clips, regardless of how many different cameras you may use. To guard against this potential problem, I always use the camera to format the SD card before any important filming session.
 
Thanks, guys. Yes, cards are dirt cheap but when you have to buy two extra batteries for the GH2, money starts to run out quick! Hahaha! Blackout, speaking of "never cross the streams", I can't wait for Ghostbusters 3 to come out!!!
 
Quick question FilmKid - where are you buying the GH2 batteries?? Most online retailers are claiming they're out of stock!
 
Its not fair i had to pay £65 here for one, i think we should start rioting like the midddle east countries
