Using external monitor while shooting 24p?

I can't seem to get an external monitor working via sdi while at 24p it works fine while the camera is shooting 25p. Am i missing something really simple?

What kind of reference monitor are you using? Does it support NTSC?

Hiya it's a calumet monitor so far from great. I've tried using HDMI now and don't have any problems this way :s
