Using EOS Utility Software For Timelapse

Wanted to use my EOS Utility software to control the timer function for a timelapse (I don't own an intervalometer) sequence but the stopwatch icon that controls the trigger is dimmed, so I can't do it. The manuals don't mention this problem and I haven't seen it mentioned any where on the net. Does anyone know how to make this work on the T2i?

I've never had an issue with that and have been using it a lot. Do you have the latest update? Is it set up for your camera?

I had the same issue. You have to have the actual camera shutter speed set to B in order to be able to change the length of the exposure in the software. Hope this helps.

It doesn't have to be on bulb.... You cannot have live view enabled or the lcd screen on the camera. This should make the watch icon available to setup timelapse options.

YES! This was the key step. Can't have Live View on the camera on. After that everything made sense. It would be nice if that bit of info was in the manual. Thanks very much.
