Using DSLR for car conversations?

Has anyone seen anyone do car conversations with DSLR's? I think that they could be perfect as they are nice and small and you can slap a wide lens on and get some good shots from inside the car.

I've seen car mounts that mount onto the hood where you'd just need a polarizer. But I think it might be easier, more safe, and weather proof to also be able to keep them inside the car or on the dash.

Anyone try this? It seems like the average 'car conversation' are always filmed from the side widows or on the hood mount. So maybe thats the way to stick as its kinda the 'standard'

I mount the 7D all over the car. Mounting the camera so you don't get the "jello" effect is a little harder than you might think.

Here's a couple of videos that shot from the camera mounted inside and outside the car.

rallymatt, nice job on the video. The Tokina 11-16 worked great for the interior shots.

Where was the airport?
