Using an Inspiron e1505

So I got my HVX today and now comes the grueling task of trying to figure out a decent portable workflow. I have an inspiron e1505 with a 1.66 GhZ dual core processor, 1gb of ram, and what I THOUGHT was the right size card slot. The p2 fit but never clicked, does this mean I should look in the direction of maybe a duel adapter (I know some people have had problems with these but really I only need it to work for three weeks). If this seems that it won't work, my cousin and only other crew member also has a rather basic macbook (i dont know the specs, only that its a couple years old and has no card slot to speak of) basically i have a 16gb, 8gb and 4gb card and need to be able to record at least an hour continuous (I know i can shoot this much 720 but would prefer to shoot 1080/24p) which I don't THINK i can do with just the firewire, though tell me if I'm wrong. I'm rather new to this tapeless business so sorry if I seem a bit ignorant on some of this business.

Even though your p2 card fits in the slot its an express card slot not a PCMCIA. Its Express 54. 54 is as wide as a p2 card on the front but the smaller on the back. Its 54mm on the front like a P2 card BUT ONLY HAS 26 PINS like the small express card.

You would still need an adapter.

Check out the pic below for an explanation.
