Using a canon camera as a prop in a short film?

Hello everyone,

Is it okay to use a camera that has the Canon logo in a short film? Or would I need to get permission from Canon? The camera is the Canon A-1 and it's pretty much the main prop in a short film I'm writing. I'm considering showing only parts of the camera and omitting shots of the "CANON" that's etched on the top of it. However, since it's the main prop and an integral piece, I would somewhere in there show more of the camera.

If anyone knows, I would greatly appreciate it.

By the way, you're talking about the A-1 as in the 35mm camera, right?
