C100: used c100 mk1 - still make sense?

The C100 is still very much respected, every single time I am shooting with mine in public I get asked the same question "Is that a C100 or a C300?" Followed by "NICE", it still very much has the juice. I got mine used in May and it has paid for itself 3 times over with change to spare. Best camera I have invested in so far and I have invested in a lot.

I agree. Though I did get asked if my C100 Mark II was "the 300 or the 500" a few months back. I know that the C500 is a bit bigger, so I was wondering how he could get the two confused if he was familiar with the models. He went on to tell me that "they" had just gotten their C500 in ("they" being the university where he taught). It made me feel a little inadequate.. but I also realized that he was maybe being just a bit braggy, so that feeling didn't last. lol. Nice dude, overall, but I was standing there thinking.. yeah, I paid for this myself.
