Hey guys,
I have been absent from the forums for some time. Moved out to B.C after my sad attempt at a feature film crashed and burned. Time has passed, things have changed and I, along with my heterosexual lifemate are back.
Our new project is entitled Us and Rick. ( We will explain the name later )
What were doing is weekly video diary/webisode documenting:
- our year at film school and all the things that come with it.
- showcasing some short films as often as we can
- going to try and get some interview with some film professionals and other special guests.
-share the knowledge we gain from film school, if any.
Last but not least, document the making of our first feature length film. I have said it before with the dvx experiment, but this time around we have ironed out some of the problems we had the first time and were giving ourselves plenty of time.
Right now we are in pre pre pre pre production. We have the idea and some scenes in our head and we want to collaborate with everyone and anyone who wants to share their thoughts with us. We are trying to build an audience for our film now so when the film is done, we will already know the fan base will be there and we can go on to distribute with a weight off our shoulders knowing there are people out there who want to see it. Trying to find our place in the new independent film making world.
So if anyone has any suggestions at all, let us know on here, facebook, twitter, youtube etc.
