Urgent filter help.

Ok so i bought a nice little CP filter to go onto my A1. I screw it on and have a look, yeah, everything looks fine. But when i go to get it off, it wont budge. The spinning element at the front is moving, but the filter isnt. I removed my lens protector to put it on (BIIIIIG MISTAKE).

Any ideas? I really need some help here

Heat up a cloth and carefully wrap it around the filter rim, hold it there for a minute then try.

Good to carry a set of these.
