I have some footage that was shot on a DC10 and not finalized to the mini-DVD. I need to transfer it to my computer to edit but apparrently you need the original roxio mydvd software that came with the camera in order for the camera to be recognized.
I tried downloading a trial version of the myDVD and it wont recognize the camera. I found out later that you need the original software that came with the camera (probably because it has some specific programing for Canon).
I called Canon and they are going to ship me the original software, however, it takes 7-10 business days and I can't wait that long. They won't rush it because its a free service they offer.
Does anyone own any of these three cameras that come with the myDVD software?
