GH2 Upstream Color, the feature-length film shot on the GH2, is now on Netflix Streaming

I turned it off half way though. Looked great, and was well orchestrated, and Carruth really knows how to build a mood, but it wasnt the mood i was in at the moment. Will give it another go when im feeling existential.


EDIT: also... totally want a GH3 now....

As a fan of your work Timur, look at this shot on a GH3 by Hugo Goudswaard , looks amazing imo.

Impressive what it looks like in the hands of a filmmaker. Of course lighting, composition and major post grading are key as well.

I was watching Upstream Color and my friend Gerald Dewey pops up towards the end. I was floored..anyway..great movie. From all the reviews, I thought it would be unwatchable. It was actually a great concept and a good movie if you follow it all the way through. It was great to see faces and locales that I was familiar with. I forgot all about the GH2, this camera, that camera stuff, although that is the reason I initially wanted to watch it.
