Uprez SD - HD

I understand some of you are pretty familiar with uprez. We have our first HD series before us ( germany is a little slow) it is a prime time product for public and international broadcasters and as we are producing since 30 years in Super 16, and Digi beta and have a big archive of our own stuff, we are looking for a decent tool to uprez footage before we start editing. ( we switched from Heavyworks to FCP) Now I would actually prefer a hardware solution, but would like to ask what you think of teranex mini - compared to Kona 3 or software solutions. We also have to downrez because we have to deliver SD and HD. Of course we are looking for the best quality at an affordable price.
We will be shooting HDX 900 till the RED will be around.

Why dont you go back and re-transfer the 16mm film to HD instead of trying to up-rez the digibeta tapes of the footage?
 
we are talking about kilometers. Sometimes we would just need a shot , sometimes footage of Digi Beta and sometimes Archive stuff we aquired like all the edison library from National Archives. So a rez up device would be convenient.
 
For FCP, I like Resizer 2. I do find a softening of the image when uprezing, but this was going from DV to DVCPRO HD 720. I suspect you will do better starting with a Digibeta original. However, I really think that a hardware uprez is the best and would opt to send clips to a Teranex if you can find a post house that will work with you.
