Updates for XF line at NAB 2013?

I was thinking of picking up an XF100 for documentary and event work. I like the small form factor, 50Mbs/422 and can work around the limitations of a single chip if I need to. But I noticed that NAB isn't too far off and was wondering if Canon might announce an upgrade to the XF line, which was introduced in 2010 without many changes since. I noticed that the resale on used XF100s has dropped quite a bit lately. Think it's worth waiting for the latest and greatest? Would love to get 3-chips into the XF100 or at least improved sensor tech. I'd imagine used prices will really plummet if any major changes were announced.

Nobody knows as Canon is pretty secretive before they act. It could go either way imho. The XF line is very nice. My only change would be a stop more sensitivity at the same or less noise levels. They will only make an upgrade if they think it will make them a profit. Is there enough demand?

To me, the XF100 was too cut down. It kind of feels like a toy/auto only type of camera. I would have enjoyed a little bigger form factor with a better lens. And yes, 3 chips would be grand. I only use the XF300 and might go for an XF100a if it was improved.

I thought somebody might have heard a rumor since it seems like Canon has been updating all of it's still photo lineup. A stop or two improvement and manual control of the automatic ND filter would be my request. You'd think that the latter could probably be done with a firmware update.
