Update On ExpressCard/34 PC Card Adapter Macintosh

I've had two conversations today with the company that is developing an ExpressCard/34 to PC Card adapter that will work specifically with Panasonic's p2 cards.

It will close the gap for the MacBookPro's lack of a PC Card slot.

The company is indicating a late summer, 2006 delivery.

Read 2006, NOT 2007.

My understanding that duel systems is working both with Panasonic and Apple.

thatd be nice, i mean very convinient that is. Works fine with camera connection, but definatly would pay for the convinience.

Cool, that's good to hear.

Though it's also nice to pick up a $1200 laptop (as I did) which will more than do the job, and which is (thankfully) not suitable for frying eggs
