Unofficial Hallows Eve Short

This was pretty funny. Great acting. The editing and pacing is right on too. Was there a lot of improvisation, or was it all scripted? Either way, the dialogue was very good, and very funny. The twist ending was nice and...twisted.
 
Our Sound guy wasted about 10 good takes because he would burst out laughing everytime he would look at Marcus and Zac.
 
Billy Pilgrim.... It was scripted but Joel does a lot of improve so Adam Green knew he didn't have to work on the dialogue too much because Joel always comes in and does his own thing and rocks it out. The Almond Joy line was improve... The Guy who lost a bet speech was improve. That's pretty much why the short is 9 mins ... we were shooting for 5 but there was so much great material we had to keep it long.
 
what a great film, I don't dig comedies that much but it held my attention from beginning to end, the sound is great. Love the almond joy line.. & it had a nice little twist I didn't see coming.

That was hilarious and disturbing. Not so much the gore as the grown men going trick or treating. :) Excellent job! It doesn't hurt that you had Joel Murray. One Crazy Summer is a personal favorite of mine.
 
I thought the performances were excellent. You have to have good acting, because if you don't, it just won't pull the audience in. It was hilarious and I really thought it was just going to be comical. What a crazy twist.


Nice work, style and pace.
