Unforntunate IDX Sequel

FullRez,

Contact them directly. They sell off some used and refurbished gear. Their stuff isn't cheap, but man it works really, really well. I shoot my XL2 for almost 8 hours on one battery....

One thing you have to keep in mind, I know they might seem like a big company and for a specialty battery company maybe they are, but when you see their operation you realize that they're really a large family company. All their **** is hand crafted. So in this case you really are getting what you pay for.

Well, vidled, we've been tossing the idea around for 4 months now. Originally, they wanted a MFTV 2-hour MOTW-type of thing which we're not confortable with. We talked them into a reality-based show (I know, not another $^^Y^*% reality show) and we're waiting to hear if the original scribe likes the idea. If he does, it'll be set in a place in Qualertown with 100% interiors. You'll know if it's a go. The casting call will attract women from all over the tri-state area and Penn as well. I'll be sure to have you there if we do the deal on one of the casting calls. That should get your heart racin', Bucko. PM me a phone and I'll call you. We're going to need a crew down there and if you're interested and we do the gig, we can talk about your experience and whethere you want to grab a handheld and lens a bit or not. It'll be a 5-camera shoot with 3 remotes for a total of 8 cams.

And finally, to emanuel I think, who once posted, "He sure likes to hear himself talk, doesn't he?"

Hey, I think that was me, and it wasn't at all meant as criticism - you make great and useful contributions. I only said it because you had posted about 10 posts in a row, with noone else in-between, and it looked sorta funny - like, umm, someone talking to himself.

Anyway, don't stop!

Oh, you're right but it was meant as a humorous acknowledgement of my propensity to go off when the subject hits close to home. You and your contributions are, as I've said many times, valued and valuable. As I've said, there are some people here who really contribute and you're one of them as well. It just seemed appropriate to acknowledge that when I do go off, I really GO OFF BIG TIME!!! and that was one of those times.

We all put so much time into this Board on both sides; the questions and the answers. As to the questions, these people are really looking for the guidance of those of us who have gone before and made the same mistakes. They need real answers upon which they can rely. And as to the responses, we have a duty and it's an honor to take the time, many times after long, hard, arduous, "what the heck were you thinking" days to craft answers to help the questioners. So when JVC and IDX and a host of others do what they do, well, I just go off. But that's what makes us and this Board and Jared's efforts so special. So I'll keep giving of myself and my experiences if you will too. Others appreciate it as much as we or certainly I appreciate Barry's and Jared's and Stephen's and yours and other's time and work to help me. Perfection is unattainable. The pursuit of perfection is what counts and I take my obligation to the distributors, network and otherwise, seriously. So thanks for the kind comment and you got it. I'm off the rant and rave and back on the, "Anyway, don't stop." I love sharing what I've learned. And thanks Barry.
