Unclear on 7D/T2i

I've always felt that the still cameras feel like bricks due to the chubby nature.. so I'm more interested in the 550d for it's size.. and also the price. I can buy two of them and get some nice glass.
 
The built of a DSRL really only matters, when shooting a "naked" cam.
When rigged up with all the bells and wizzles, the form factor and built becomes secondary.
I mean just look at the REDone.
So, for me, when deciding between a 7D and a t2i strictly for video purposes, the plastic canon is the winner. (Not that you couldn´t take photos with it, also...)

When looking for "hybrid" use, I´d probably still go with a 5D, because a FF with high lattitude comes closer to my photographic desires.
