Ugent Cable Question

Hi,

I shot some stuff I need to edit. This is a dumb but URGENT question, but what cable do I need to send footage from my A1 to my Mac G5? Is it a DV to DVi cable? :huh: Is there a particular brand or model I should get?

Firewire cable probably a 4-pin to 4-pin, generic ones are fine.

Will firewire transfer HD footage? I thought that required a HDMI cable?

Yes, firewire will transfer the HDV-footage without a problem, as HDV is about the same transferspeed as regular DV.

Turns out I needed a 4-pin to 6-pin firewire cable, got it at Office Depot (last one!).
