Two Heads???

Yeah, funny title, I know....

Question: are there two heads inside the DVX? I recently recorded an hour long event. After, when I checked playback, there were blue horizontal bars.

However, when I captured using another deck, the footage was perfect. I cleaned my DVX with a cleaning tape and now playback is fine.

Why would the footage have recorded perfectly, yet playback funky?

No, the cleaning cassette is not intended to clean record heads, which is why the instructions say to use in only in VTR Play mode. Cleaning the record heads is best done by a service center, but if you feel confident that you can do it without damaging the camera:
